Dissolving separation and alienation from nature to connect to and appreciate the world full of beauty and wonder that we inhabit.. brings realization; there are so many parallels between the human (body) and nature
There are a few concepts i observed and picked to express my appreciation for the (non human) life we are surrounded by!!
Animals animals themselves are a crazy thing to exist have you ever just looked at a cat and thought wow. this being is alive, just like I am, and i don’t know what their thoughts are or how they perceive the world they are just there and do their thing.. think abt parrots what goes through their heads when they speak !! or cats what they plot against you. So when we think abt animals in nature we usually picture how they kill each other because they need food its a bit sad maybe but ok thats how things work. THEN open your eyes to this beautiful thing called SYMBIOSIS!! Literally friendship among animals !!!
wow look at this its a hippo and a bird (oxpecker) none of those animals can speak or make a deal but yet theyre just chilling together. The bird eats the parasites off the hippo while the hippo provides protection for him ! They were like ok lets just be friends and chill together this is so coollllllllllll!!!!!!! There are more examples for this kind of relationship between animals its just so cute.
The seasons I believe the seasons are a reflection of humans and once we are able to see and understand this for ourselves, we can learn so much from it.
Spring – the transition between death and life; everything slowly awakens, flowers and colours start peeking out, animals come back, life is infused into nature.
Spring represents birth, new life that emerges from death, reinvention, life force. In the beginning, spring comes very slow and sometimes there can even be snow in April. growth isn’t easy and sometimes we feel setbacks but periods of transition have to take place – only that way summer lies ahead. life prevails and we get to where we want to be if we let this energy fight it’s way through the darkness and cold
Summer – life is peaking, fruits are growing and being harvested, the sun is shining strong and nourishing nature, bright and gorgeous colours fill the landscapes and forests, nice temperature to be outside
this is when we peak as humans. We can express ourselves freely, our work is rewarded in different ways, we feel healthy and alive, productive and beautiful.
Fall – change of leaves, vegetation starts becoming more naked, days are shorter, the temperature goes down and life is slowly leaving the plants and trees
Fall is my favorite season. It shows me that change and (the process of) death is nessecary, in fact it is a beautiful process; all the trees change color from green to shades of red, orange, yellow, purple, brown.. I am actually really sad to miss european autumn this year. CHANGE IS INEVITABLE AND DEATH IS BEAUTIFUL!! EMBRACE IT JUST AS NATURE DOES IN FALL SEASON!!!!
Winter – complete stillness. frozen and no life trees are naked no fruit nothing its cold and dead
Depression, loss and no drive, standing still and being numb, not fruitful; sometimes these are our experiences in life. It is quite hard and no one ever wants to go these places but.. we need them in order for new things to bloom again. summer would not exist without winter – there is no light without dark
Conclusion. Life can’t exist without death. We need to be able to let go and leave behind in order to grow and become better versions of ourselves.
Growing beyond oneself means death
Der Tod ist Geburt, ist Angst und Bangnis vor fruchtbarer Neuerung.
This is a beautiful observation but even without this connection the seasons are beautiful. Think of all the different, bright colours that exist within nature and the fact that tasty fruit and healing plants just grow from the earth. Think of the crazy shape of snowflakes that form by themselves. we may like some seasons more than others.. but how beautiful it is that life isn’t static and has so many different faces!
Physical parallels there are many examples of shapes and patterns in our body that we can find in nature; just google the following if you are interested to get your #mind blown baby!!!!: tree stump and human fingerprint. tree and lung. mycelium and neuronal network in brain.
Next time you’re outside and see the trees, the sky or any other natural occurence that is not manmade.. stop for a second and give some credit to the ultimate boss and creator of this cool planet. even if you resist to believe in a creator; imagine someone gave you the task to create a functioning world with mathematics or whatever rationalists would use.. would you even be able to imagine such a beautiful and miracoulously working world? all the colors, the trees, flowers, animals, climates, structures.. how wild that we get to experience this life.
Hashem is an (the og) artist and we live in his artwork; He clothes himself in nature, it is his mask behind which he hides..
i love world
